Within the framework of Frankfurt Fashion Week, the sustainable Hessian fashion scene will be given new forms of presentation to showcase its innovative approaches. The team around initiator and curator Christine Fehrenbach focuses on matching fashion with art projections and dance installations. The creative approach promises fashion in action, worn by dancers. Hessian fashion labels

We are pleased to be able to provide a platform for Hessian fashion labels that are involved in the many the many different forms of sustainable fashion. From the label Stay in a Kite, which is dedicated to upcycling old kites and surf sails to create unique clothing and accessories, to the handmade vegan bags by Melina Bucher. Mipfashion presents modern streetwear, while Moski relies on 100% production in Germany or Frankfurt am Main. Christine Fehrenbach's partner THE GUESTLIST is dedicated to shaping the future of consciously produced, timeless slow-fashion products - which can become heirlooms and are passed down from generation to generation. Stitch by Stitch is a B2B tailoring company that works in a socially and ecologically sustainable way. Under the "Made in Germany" seal of quality, Stitch by Stitch produces small series for fashion labels with professional tailors who have fled the country - and does so regionally, transparently and fairly. Linamour's passion is pure linen and it is produced fairly and sustainably in Katja Rzheutskaya's home country of Belarus. Who made my clothes' is Coco Lore's principle of action by conviction. All pieces are made fairly and sustainably on site in Frankfurt am Main. Weinstürmer stands for high-quality fashion made in Germany to ensure short transport routes, fair wages and safe working conditions. The Hessian design claim is rounded off by the Frankfurt School for Clothing and Fashion, which also presents an upcycling project made of denim. And not to forget, of course, the upccling outfits from Senegal/ St. Louis - Dakar Biennale by our artist Béatrice Steimer.
